French — A Language of Integration

I am French, originally from the Charente region.
For most of my adult life, I have lived between countries and continents — first for professional reasons, and later as the spouse of a Swedish diplomat. Through these experiences, I came to understand what it truly means to settle in a new country, start anew and gradually rebuild one’s sense of identity.

Moving to a new country every three or four years is an enriching adventure, but also a genuine challenge: adapting to new environments, rediscovering daily routines, building professional and social networks, and sometimes learning a new language. Learning the language of the host country is, of course, essential — yet it is not always sufficient to quickly create meaningful connections.

This is where shared languages play a crucial role. Speaking a common foreign language — beyond English — immediately creates a sense of connection. It opens doors to communities, exchanges and opportunities. This is exactly what I experienced: thanks to French, Spanish and Swedish, I was able to join different circles, develop professional and personal relationships, and gradually feel integrated wherever I lived.

My Mission: Helping You Unlock Your French

Many diplomats, professionals in international organisations and accompanying partners believe that English is enough for everyday life. This is true — to a certain extent. Yet being able to communicate in another language, such as French, offers access to a richer and more diverse social and professional environment. It allows you to move beyond the English-speaking sphere, build deeper connections and broaden your opportunities.

My role is to help you reactivate and develop the French you learned at school or elsewhere, transforming it into a genuine tool for communication, integration and personal and professional growth.

This mission has guided my work for over twenty years, supported by specialised training in French for professional purposes and extensive experience in international contexts.
