Je m'appelle Florence

I'm French from Charentes in the southwest of France, I'm Swedish through my husband and also Spanish and Guatemalan at heart.

My studies

After a Master in Roman Languages, I quickly took the path of teaching French as a Foreign Language. During my family and children's break, I started creative writing, and it was only natural that I then trained as a public writer as well as to run writing workshops. In 2018, I took the DDIFOS, a diploma to teach French with specific purposes from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Île de France.

My professional experience

From Alliances Françaises to universities, I have taught French in many countries: Spain, Russia, Sweden, Ecuador, China, Guatemala, and in France too. In 2012, I created Les Ateliers de Florence, which allows me to continue working while changing countries regularly. I am authorized to take the DELF / DALF tests. I have also proofread many literary articles, theses as well as different French language manuals. 

Strengthened by my training and professional experience, I now wish to assist those interested in the discovery of the French language and culture, in a climate of trust and benevolence.
